As Time goes bye takes reference from the symbolism and themes mentioned within Homer's the ‘Odyssey”, using mark making, printing and collage to represent them. Attention has been paid to the use of muted colours to represent the fading and passing of time. The processes used include Silkscreen, Typography, Monoprinting and Collage.
Themes that are of particular interest include distance from loved ones, counting time away and not knowing when one will return.
I have then combined these subjects with a strong graphic sense using composition and materials to give a personal impression of the narrative.
